Man murdered for protesting sexual harassment in Kushtia

Four people were arrested for murdering a youth who had protested against the sexual harassment of women at Gobindopur village in Kumarkhali upazila of Kushtia on Friday night.
The deceased was identified as Manna Kha, 25, son of Jamal Kha of the village.
Stalkers stabbed Manna as he protested against sexual harassment during a mahfil (religious gathering) around 10:30pm, said Jahangir Alam, officer-in-charge of Kumarkhali Police Station.
Locals took him to Pabna Hospital in critical condition where the doctor pronounced him dead.
The killers were nabbed by locals shortly after the stabbing and later handed over to police, the OC said.
