Bus-ambulance collision kills 3 in Rangpur

Three people were killed and two others injured in a head-on collision between an ambulance and a bus at Bachurbanda area of Taragonj upazila of Rangpur on Wednesday, reports UNB.
The deceased are Biplob, 20, Shathi Akhtar, 25, both passengers of the ambulance and Rubel, 30, its driver.
All of them died on the spot after the ambulance collided with a Syedpur-bound bus of Dipjol Paribahan around 7am, said Golam Kibria, officer-in-charge of Taragonj highway police station.
The injured are being treated at Rangpur Medical College Hospital, he added.
