2 abducted schoolgirls rescued in Chuadanga; kidnapper held

Police rescued two schoolgirls from Fakirpara in Damurhuda upazila of Chaudanga district on Monday, seven days after their abduction, reports UNB.

Police also arrested an alleged abductor, Faizul Islam, son of Moksed Ali, in this connection.

Abdul Baki, a sub-inspector of Damurhuda Model Police Station, said two class nine students of 'Damurhuda Pilot High School' were abducted on March 7 while they were returning home from the school.

Later, their fathers filed separate general diaries with the police station.

After tracking Faizul's mobile phone, police rescued them from a house of the area in the afternoon.

Meanwhile, two abduction cases were filed against Faizul and another accused Anisur, son of Badrul.
