Petrol bomb blast in M’signh leaves two injured

Two people were injured as a petrol bomb was hurled on a procession at Shahganj Bazar in Gouripur upazila of Mymensingh district on Saturday night.

The procession was brought out protesting the attack on Achintapur Union Parishad chairman.

The injured were identified as Abdul Matin, 24, Rafiqul Islam, 42.

Belal Ahmed, officer-in-charge of Gouripur Police Station, said unidentified miscreants hurled petrol bomb on the protest procession brought out by the supporters of Achintapur UP chairman VP Shaheed followed by a rally here around 8:30 pm, leaving two people injured. 

The injured were taken to Gouripur Health Complex and Matin, one of the injured, was later shifted to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital.
