No changes for Tigers in ICC ODI, T20I Team Rankings

Bangladesh cricket team remained in the previous places in the ODI and T20I Team Rankings of the International Cricket Council (ICC).

The ICC updated the annual ODI and T20I Team Rankings on Wednesday after publishing the Test Team Rankings on Tuesday where Bangladesh set a record, moving ahead of the West Indies to take the 8th place for the first time in the ICC rankings gaining four points to reach 75.

In ODI rankings, Bangladesh are ranked 7th gaining three points for their collection of 93 rating points from 24 outings, a clear 16-point lead of the 8th placed Sri Lanka (lost seven points) -- with 77 rating points from 43 ODIs. The Tigers stayed nine points behind 6th slot holder Pakistan (gained six points) --102 rating points from 32 matches.

England, which last topped the ODI rankings in January 2013, seized the top spot in the ODI team rankings overtaking India. England have gained eight points and moved to 125 rating points from 45 matches.

India lost one point before the updates and are in the 2nd second place with a total of 122 rating points.

South Africa, were in the 2nd, dropped down to the 3rd place after losing four rating points from 117 to 113, leaving them nine points adrift of India and only one point ahead of fourth- placed New Zealand. World champions Australia lost eight points to go down to 104 in 5th position.

Among other changes, the West Indies (69) have lost five points, Afghanistan (63) have gained five points, Zimbabwe (55) have gained four points and 12th-placed Ireland (38) have lost three points.
