BCL men vandalise BNP leader’s house in Laxmipur

The leaders and activists of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) vandalised BNP leader Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Anny’s house in Laxmipur district town’s Godown Road on Wednesday afternoon.

The victim leader is publicity secretary of central BNP.

A total of 10 motorcycles of BNP leaders and activists have been vandalised as well as the chairs, windows and doors of the leader’s house, claimed BNP.

Eyewitness said a group of BCL leaders and activists led by district Chhatra League president Ziaul Karim Nishan attack on the leaders and activists of municipality BNP, Jubo Dal and Chhatra Dal conducting meeting at the leader house around 5 pm, vandalising chairs, windrows, and doors of the house. But none injured in this form this incident.

Talking to UNB, district Chhatra League president Ziaul Karim Nishan said no leaders and activists of BCL were involved in such vandalism incident. “It could be their internal conflict,” he ventured.
