School teacher found dead in Munshiganj

Police recovered the body of a school teacher from Sukhbaspur in Sadarupazila of Munshiganj on Sunday night, reports UNB.

The deceased was identified as Ishrafil Haque, 42, son of Mujibur Rahman of Chapainawabganj district and an assistant teacher of Betka Union High School in Tongibari upazila. He used to live in Panchosar area in Sadar upazila.

Family sources said that he went to Hatimari area for private tuition after his school and did not return home till night.

MdAminul Islam, inspector of Hatimara Police investigation camp, said locals spotted an unidentified body with severe injury marks on its head in the area and 11pm and informed police.

Later, police recovered the body and sent it to General Hospital for autopsy, said the inspector.

Over news of body recovered, his family members went to the hospital and identified the body as Ishrafil.
