Three tests of the ongoing Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations have been deferred for Biswa Ijtema, which is scheduled to begin on the bank of the Turag River at Tongi on February 15.
Chief of Inter-Education Board Coordination Subcommittee and Dhaka Education Board Chairman Prof M Ziaul Haque on Sunday said the examinations of February, 16, 17 and 18 will now be held on February 26, 27 and March 2 respectively.
Biswa Ijtema, the 2nd largest Muslim congregation after Hajj, will be held for four days in a single phase this year on February 15-18.
