BCL activists attack JCD men at DU; 4 injured

Four leaders and activists of BNP’s Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) were injured in an attack allegedly by some activists of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) and Muktijuddho Mancha on the Dhaka University campus near Madhur Canteen on Sunday, UNB reports.
The injured were identified as Mamun Khan, Shahjahan Shaon, Tarek Hasan Mamun and Nayeem. They were taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) for first aid.
Witnesses said Muktijuddho Mancha president Aminul Islam Bulbul, also vice- president of BCL, swooped on some JCD men while they were approaching towards Madhur Canteen.
Mansura Alam, a JCD-backed vice-president candidate of Shamshunnahar Hall union in Ducsu polls, claimed that Muktijuddho Mancha leaders assaulted the Chhatra Dal leaders after holding a press conference at Madhur Canteen.
