3 ‘Bangladeshis’ arrested in India’s Agra

The Agra police of India arrested three reported Bangladeshi nationals on Tuesday, reports India Today.

The alleged Bangladeshis have been identified as Saeed-ul-Islam, his wife Munara Begum and his son Rabib-ul-Islam, it added.

Quoting Agra Inspector General of Police (IGP) A Satish Ganesh, India Today reported that the police had received information that three illegal Bangladeshi nationals were living in the Rohta area of Sadar area of Agra in Uttar Pradesh without any valid identity proofs.

The Indian media outlet also said they were sent to jail and will be prosecuted according to the law.

It further said they were promptly detained when they could not produce any identity documents.
