Bangabandhu’s self-confessed killer Abdul Majed arrested

Captain Abdul Majed, a convicted killer of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, was arrested on Monday night, Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan said Tuesday.
Majed was arrested from the capital’s Mirpur area, he said on Tuesday, UNB reports.
On August 15, 1975, Bangladesh’s founding father Bangabandhu and most of his family members were assassinated by a cabal of military men.
Five killers of Bangabandhu -- Syed Farooq Rahman, Sultan Shahriar Rashid Khan, Bazlul Huda, AKM Mohiuddin Ahmed and Mohiuddin Ahmed -- were hanged in January 2010.
Another killer Aziz Pasha met the natural death in Zimbabwe in 2001.
