Pakistan issues visas for Bangladesh cricket team

Pakistan High Commission in Bangladesh issues multiple entry visas to all members of the Bangladesh National Cricket Team and management scheduled for visiting Pakistan for three T20, two test matches and one ODI, sources in the high commission confirmed today.

The first T20 match between Pakistan and Bangladesh will held on 24 January, 2020, at Lahore.

Accordingly, Bangladesh will play a three-match T20 International series in Lahore from 24-27 January.

The Bangladesh Team is then expected to return to Pakistan for the first of the two ICC World Test Championship matches which will be held in Rawalpindi from 07-11 February.

Following the conclusion of the first Test, Bangladesh will visit Pakistan again to play a one-off ODI in Karachi on 03 April and the second ICC World Test Championship fixture from 05-09 April at the same venue.

According to High Commission sources, multiple entry visas to all the 33 members of Bangladesh Squad, including players and members of the team management and security personnel, as requested by the Bangladesh Cricket Board, have been issued.

The upcoming cricket series between Pakistan and Bangladesh is being seen enthusiastically by the Pakistani cricket-lovers as the Bangladesh Cricket team will be visiting Pakistan after 10 long years.

Bangladeshi cricketers have a large number of fans in Pakistan, especially among the younger generation, who are anxiously waiting for their favourite players in action on the cricket field. 

Certain media teams from Bangladesh will also be visiting Pakistan for coverage of the cricket series.
