Covid-19: AL leader dies in Bogura

A local leader of Awami League died from coronavirus at a hospital in the capital early Thursday.
The deceased was identified as Ashiqur Rashid Helal, 60, president of Dhunat municipality unit Awami League.
AL leader Helal was undergoing treatment at Bogura TMSS Medical College and Hospital after he tested positive for Covid-19 on June 23.
Later, he was shifted to Dhaka Square Hospital Limited following deterioration of his condition where he breathed his last around 3 am, said Mahsin Alam, joint secretary of Dhunat upazila unit Awami League.
