Covid-19: Global cases surge to 13,035,942

Coronavirus cases globally have soared to 13,035,942 while the death toll from the deadly virus have reached 571,571 as of Monday morning, according to Worldometer.
Of the currently infected 4,882,336 patients, 4,823,408 are in mild condition while 58,928 are in serious or critical condition.
So far, 7,582,035 people have made recovery from the disease in different countries.
The US is the worst-hit country with highest cases and deaths in the world at 3,413,995 and 137,782 respectively while Brazil is in the 2nd position with 1,866,176 cases and 72,151 deaths.
Coronavirus has affected 213 countries and territories around the world and two international conveyances.
The World Health Organization (WHO) on March 11 declared the coronavirus crisis a pandemic after Covid-19 cases were detected in China in December last year.
