The Ministry of Liberation War Affairs has published a list of 10,789 razakars, who collaborated with the Pakistani occupation forces during the Liberation War in 1971.

Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque issued the list at a press conference in the ministry's conference room on Sunday.

The ministry published this partial list that includes names of Pak collaborators in the first phase, while a list of other anti-liberation forces will be released in phases later.

The minister said this list was prepared after scrutinizing the records provided from the archives of the Home Ministry and several district administrations, who prepared the lists using their respective district’s archive.

The list has already been published at the Liberation War Affairs Ministry's website [www.molwa.gov.bd].

While addressing the briefing, the minister also informed that the number of genuine freedom fighters is not more than 2.10 lakh.

The complete list of the country’s freedom fighters will be published on the Independence Day (March 26), he said.
